There are countless ways to get a military discount in Las Vegas – you just need to know where and how to find those special offers. 

• Start by doing a quick check online before heading out. While many businesses proudly offer military discounts, some of their best deals aren’t advertised front and center. A quick visit to ID.me, GovX, or Veterans Advantage can reveal some amazing savings you might have missed.

• Don’t forget to bring your military ID, VA card, or DD Form 214. If you haven’t already, we recommend setting up a verified account with ID.me or GovX – it’s a real time-saver since many local businesses use these platforms. TIP: if you’re visiting with family, always ask if the discounts extend to spouses and dependents too.

• Most importantly, never shy away from asking about military discounts. Local businesses take pride in supporting service members, and you might be pleasantly surprised by the savings that await when you simply ask.

Hotels and entertainment

Las Vegas has no shortage of world-class hotels and attractions, and many of them offer military members and veterans special perks as a way of showing appreciation. 

• The MGM Resorts Military & Veterans Program (MVP) provides special room rates and exclusive offers across all MGM properties. Service members can enjoy discounts on hotel stays, shows, and dining experiences, as well as popular experiences such as the following:

  • $10 off admission to the Arte Museum at Aria
  • $3 off full ticket price at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art
  • $7 off admission to Bodies: The Exhibition

• Caesars Entertainment properties offer multiple ways for military members to save on their Vegas experience. Through their partnership with ID.me, service members can access special hotel rates at properties throughout Las Vegas. This discount stacks with other promotions, maximizing savings for military personnel and veterans.

  In addition to hotel discounts, Caesars extends exclusive savings on dining, buffets, attractions, spa treatments, and entertainment for those who present a military ID. For a classic Vegas experience, enjoy 20% off admission to the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck.

• The Venetian and Palazzo honor military service with enhanced rewards tier status. Simply present your military ID at any players’ club desk to receive a special players card with elevated benefits, including a 20% discount on gondola rides.

Dining 

Many restaurants in the City of Lights go the extra mile to show appreciation for military personnel and veterans.
Everyday discounts at chain restaurants:

• Outback Steakhouse – Military personnel and veterans receive 10% off their total bill at all seven Las Vegas locations. Notable locations include Casino Royale and the restaurant between MGM Grand and Planet Hollywood.

• Denny’s – A 10% discount is available at participating locations, including those on The Strip and Fremont Street. Veterans can also receive a free Grand Slam meal on Veterans Day.

• Applebee’s – Participating locations provide a 10% discount throughout the year. On Veterans Day, the restaurant offers a selection of free entrées for military personnel and veterans.

• IHOP – Military members can receive 20% off at participating locations. Additionally, a free Grand Slam meal is available to veterans every Veterans Day.

Some restaurants in Las Vegas have gone beyond everyday discounts to offer military personnel and veterans extra-special deals on meaningful occasions:

• Fogo de Chão made Memorial Day memorable with a 50% discount for veterans and active-duty personnel dining in, while up to three guests received 10% off.

• South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa also honored military members on Memorial Day with a free buffet for two at the Garden Buffet, available for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. 

• Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ provided a free dine-in meal for veterans on Nov. 10 and 11, with a choice of a pulled pork sandwich or a personal-sized fried chicken plate.

• Golden Corral hosted Military Appreciation Night, offering veterans and active-duty personnel a free “thank you” meal from 5 p.m. until closing.

• NORMS provided veterans and active-duty personnel 20% off an entire meal.

Since promotions can change year to year, it’s always a good idea to check with these restaurants as Veterans Day or Memorial Day approaches to see if similar offers will be available again.
